The heat exchange station comprises a heat exchange system consisting of water-to-water heat exchangers, a circulating water system with circulating pumps, and a make-up water system equipped with make-up pumps. During the control process, numerous physical quantities—such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate—are acquired as analog signals, which are then collected and processed in real time by a PLC controller. The PLC-based control system of the heat exchange station automatically regulates key components, including the primary‑side electric control valves, the secondary‑side circulation system, and the make-up water system, thereby achieving fully automated operation of the entire heat exchange station.
The automated control system of an unattended heat exchange station primarily performs functions such as data acquisition, automatic control, parameter storage, real-time communication, and fault alarm. It can operate independently for local control or be remotely managed by the monitoring center.
